Nine Notable Notions - DBSS PLAYER EXPECTATIONS
1. INCREASED INTENSITY - Always put forth maximum effort in sessions from the minute you enter a DBSS facility until you leave
2. HAVE A VISION - Where do you want to go in the game, what level do you want to reach?
3. RESPECT - Respect ALL fellow DBSS participants
4. BE MOTIVATED - Motivation to want to learn and succeed must come from inside you, the player
5. BE COACHABLE - When coaches are talking, players must have eyes on the coach and listen. Try to implement what it is coaching staff are wanting you to do.
6. EXPRESS YOURSELVES - Players are encouraged to take risks and express themselves on the ball and must learn to make decisions through trial and error
7. DARE TO FAIL - Failure is a part of the learning curve, we encourage you to fail - If at first you don't succeed, try and try again!
8. GENERATE AN ATTITUDE - Nobody likes a know it all, however, it is good to be positive, confident, and talkative. Compete to win!
9. BE GRACIOUS - Remain humble in victory and more importantly in defeat. Always shake an opponent’s hand following competition in games or a coach’s hand following practice.
